Kahvé Road – Restaurant Review

I love food that is a complete give in. I also love going to new restaurants there is something so fun in visiting a new restaurant lucky in Cape Town there is pretty much a new restaurant that pops up frequently so there is always variety and new places to visit.

On Sunday we headed to Kahvé Road in Cavendish for lunch, I had been before because the minute I heard there was a new patisserie in Cape Town I was there for a croissant and coffee, in my book there is nothing better!

The minute you walk into Kahvé Road its easy to forget you’re in a mall, unlike most restaurants within a mall their squashed, busy and noisy. Kahvé Road has a tranquil, calm feeling to it with a wide variety of food options from their gorgeous pasteries, soups, salads, burgers you name it they’ve got it! Have a look at their menu and let me know if it isn’t drool worthy!

I had a trio of sliders which included coriander lamb, crumbed chicken and falafel in tiny little homemade rolls I was STUFFED after them! I drank a fresh juice mix of Grapefruit and Orange it was so yummy, well I’m a sucker for all fresh juices tbh. Mandla had smoked trout and avo bagel which was so delicious.

When you’re next in Cavendish/Claremont definitely check out Kahvé Road, they also offer all day breakfast, if you’re a lover of eggs benny then this is where you want to go or even just for some delicious coffee and a macaroon – open 7 days a week from 8am-7pm.
