oh GOSH!

Gosh is such a sleek brand that definitely is not hyped up enough, available at Edgars I can guarantee you’ll leave with something! Today I thought I’d share with you my top Gosh Copenhagen products:

First up is the Gosh lipliner in Nougat Crisp (+- R150) which I think would be the perfect liner for MAC velvet teddy. I usually prefer twist up lipliners mainly because I find pencil ones can be quite hard tipped but this is the complete opposite, so soft and glides on so easily! The shade is a beautiful nudey brown with a pink undertone and would work on so many skin tones. Can we also take a moment for the sleek matt black packaging, yaas!

Velvet touch Matt lipsticks there are so many shades in this range I want to try such as rose, raspberry, antique and plum my list is so long because the formula of this velvet touch lipstick is very unique, easy to apply and not drying, so pigmented and long lasting. I have the shade Classic Red which truly is a classic red; the perfect post box red and has become my go to red.

Gel look top coat (R99) , we all know I’m a fan of the essence gel top coat and now I have another gel top coat that I’m heart eyes about. There is something about the formula of these two they’re both very similar in formula and give the same thick gel look on the nails although I must say the Gosh gel top coat seems to lock in the polish for an extra day or two. I especially love using this on my toes as thats where I need my polish to stay longer.

Defining brow gel (+- R100), oh my gosh yes! I am completely smitten by this, its available in clear as well but I opted for the dark version just for the lazy days where I want a quick brow look. This doesn’t make my brows crunchy or crispy at all, as soon as its dry I don’t even notice its there. The wand although big, applies the perfect amount of product at a time and is very easy to build up if needed.

Mascara: Boombastic XXL mascara with Argan Oil (R145), just look at that wand have you ever seen anything like that? Nope me either with its twists and nodules it really allows the mascara to cling onto even the smallest/finest of lashes. The wand is plastic and definitely XXL because of it being so large when its pulled out the tube it leaves behind any excess product which means you can expect no clumps or excess product.

Double Precision Mascara (+-R145) this is my new FAVOURITE mascara, I usually stay away from double ended mascaras mainly because I’m laaaazzzzy! Gosh knocked the nail on the head with this one though one end is for the upper lashes which is a larger fiber brush and the other end is a smaller brush for the lower lashes its really the perfect shape to get into the inner corner. What I really like with both of these mascaras is that they don’t make your lashes feel crunchy or hard when you touch them.

Lastly my three favourite Gosh brushes, again the packaging is sleek black and mostly matt – all black everything! All three of these brushes have the most unique styled bristle; they’re long, tapered and densely packed. Made of synthetic hair means they’re cruelty free and easy to clean with no shedding.

Kabuki – this is the perfect bronzer brush its large which allows for a light dusting of bronzer all over the face in one swipe plus its so cute! I think this brush would also be great for face powder.

Blusher – I find this brush so unique as I said earlier the bristles are longer than most of my other brushes so they move easily if that makes sense. This brush is flatter than most blush brushes I’ve tried – I’ve been using this brush for face powder on my T-zone and under eyes, it works amazingly for that and I love the size for that, it also fits perfectly on the apple of the cheeks, it’s my favourite out of all 3.

Powder – I have been using this brush for powder and bronzer, again long bristles and allows for light application, so if you’re heavy handed like me these brushes are your go to as it’s really hard to use too much product with them.

Oh gosh! This was a long one, what is your favourite Gosh item I need to try?
