#CANCERVIVEINSPIRED Revlon Make Up Look

So I don’t really know where to begin with this post as it’s something I have had in my back pocket for a while and now that the time has come I have been struck with writers block!

Lets start at the beginning! Revlon invited me to a morning of swooning over their new products, munching on o’dourves and sipping on champaign. What I didn’t expect to happen at all was hear about and be so deeply touched by their cancer initiative CancerVive (say it fast CAN.survive!).

CancerVive is a project of People Living with Cancer. With an incredible annual seven-day motorcycle awareness ride across South Africa. The ride is made up of survivors, supporters, crew and media who embark on the journey that aims to deliver a message of hope and encouragement to communities in the provinces of Western and Eastern cape by utilising art, music, poetry, dance and storytelling to celebrate victory over the disease.

Did you know more people die yearly from cancer than HIV Aids, tuberculosis and malaria combined! That is a crazy statistic and just shows us how far we need to go to find a cure for this terrible disease.

I decided to create a video with my #CANCERVIVEINSPIRED make up look and an interview with Bonang Matheba, yes my bestie interviewed me! Oh and let’s not forget the #awkwardmoment at the end of the video!

Remember to give Cancervive a visit, a like, a follow:
