Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

When it comes to concealers they’re one make up item that I tend to always have a few on the go, the one item I go through quite quickly and the one item that really makes a difference to a flawless base. Over the past few months I have been trying out so many new concealers; different brands and different formulas so I’ll share one concealer review a week – starting off with Maybelline Fit Me Concealer.

Available in 12 shades from pale to dark and in multiple undertones.

‘Skin looks perfected with this natural coverage liquid concealer. This oil-free concealer formula conceals redness, flaws, and blemishes. Matches all skin tones. Dermatologist tested. Ophthalmologist tested. Non-comedogenic concealer. Fragrance-free. Packaging may vary, what you receive may not be what is reflected on site.’ – Maybelline.com

Maybelline Fit Me offers opaque medium buildable coverage in a creamy formula that isn’t too thick or too thing – it’s just right. The range is so broad with multiple undertones which is amazing for someone as pale as I am, usually pale concealers can be very pink which are great for under eye concealing but not so great for blemishes as it tends to accentuate them further.

As the Maybelline South Africa team had sent so many shades, I tried to contour with a concealer shade (no. 15) that was 2 shades darker than my shade (no. 35), I was blown away at how easy it was to blend in especially as all my other contouring attempts have ended in a brown muddy mess.

I think one of the reasons Maybelline Fit Me is so easy to use is because of the doe-foot applicator; its not too spongy so it doesn’t over apply product. Which makes it easy to use as under eye, pimple concealing or contouring as it doesn’t over apply the product.

The concealer dries semi matt so depending on the day and how my skin is feeling I can sometimes go without powdering – yip even under my eyes, which is very rare when it comes to concealer.

Overall I absolutely love the Maybelline Fit Me range from the foundation (read my review here) to the concealer; they’re both affordable and get the job done! Have you tried Maybelline Fit Me concealer?
