Joico K-Pak Mask Review

I think we have all suffered from damaged hair at some point if not from over styling then from constant dying. I am definitely in the very much in-between both of these; you see I had a slight botched hair cut which left me with odd layers and because I naturally have curly hair these bounce right up and I kind of look like a mop so I need to straighten them which means they’re starting to look quite fizzled and then let’s not forget the bleaching/stripping my hair to make it blonde from medium brown.

I have been using the Joico K Pak Mask to help tame my fizzled ends so that my hair can grow out of the terrible layers I have. The K-PAK’s range is structured on multi-action formulas feature megadoses of Joico’s revolutionary Bio-Advanced Peptide and Quadramine complexes, these two formulas are said to be the most powerful reconstructive technologies for hair, to repair and strengthen hair precisely where it needs it.

You can never reverse damage or split ends but what you can do is treat it so that the damage doesn’t get any worse that it is. I have been using the Joico K Pak treatment in two ways – sometimes whilst in the shower I leave it on for 5 minutes and then sometimes to give my hair a full dose of nourishment I leave it in my hair either over night or throughout the day in a bun.

The mask itself smells amazing, I would love a fragrance with this scent its that good! A tiny bit goes a long way which is great because the tube should last a good 2 or 3 months. The mask leaves my hair feeling so soft and lightweight which is rare for a nourishing hair mask, especially when you have fine hair masks can weigh the hair down or make it greasy faster – this Joice K Pak mask does just the opposite and I think that’s why I gravitate to it so much more because I hate the feeling of weighed down greasy hair!

Have you tried any Joico hair products, if so which are your go-to’s?
