Urban Decay Moondust Look + Review

Moondust – Sexy, twinkling sparkle with a ton of depth and movement. Each shadow is dazzlingly sparkly, but with a super-refined, incredibly sophisticated feel (and not a single speck of chunky glitter). Every shade of Moondust Eyeshadow with microfine bits of sparkle and lush 3-D metallics—for a luxurious, diamond-like effect.

If that statement doesn’t getting you excited then you can’t even be close to a mag-pie like me. I may love the simple clothing looks but bling and glitter.. give it all to me! The Urban Decay Moondust range is probably the most glittery pigmented eyeshadows I have ever come across and although there is all that glitter I have never experienced any eye irritations which is like a first for me and my sensitive eyes.

The shadows can be used wet or dry, with a brush or fingertips; it all depends on the look you’re going for. If you’re looking to achieve a wash of colour then using a dry brush will be sufficient but if you’re creating a super glittery eye look then the wetter the brush the better!

The moondust eyeshadows have been formulated so that if you wet the pan they will dry back to normal and the shadow won’t be unusable or ruined. I met someone who actually told me she sprays water directly into the pan to get as much pigment as possible out.

Urban Decay moondust is a global favourite with some amazing single shadow shades. In Korea the most sold Moondust shade is Space Cowboy which is the most gorgeous champaign shimmer shade.

This palette is the first ever Moondust palette by Urban Decay and was created for their anniversary and features 8 new shades.

I decided to film a quick make up look using the palette and I truly love how it came out. Have a watch and let me know what you think 🙂
