One of my most favourite skincare items is a mask, I love a good deep cleaning mask but I love me a good moisture mask! Moisture masks can be used whilst multi masking or I have found another way to use it, so you’re guaranteed to wake up with silky smooth plump face… leaving the mask on overnight! This allows you to use a deep cleaning mask and then sleep with a moisture mask or if your face needs an injection of moisture! These are my top go to moisture masks. Bioderma Hydrabio Mask, the consistency of this mask isn’t too thick which is also a plus because my skin tends to absorb it much faster than most moisture masks. It is very similar to a rich moisturiser I think thats why my skin seems to absorb it quickly. This would also be great for anyone with sensitive skin, its a plain and simple moisture mask. Avene Soothing Moisture Mask, this has to be one of my most favourite moisture masks. Budget Blush and Bronzer Favourites

If I think of my everyday make up routine even if I am in a rush, one of the items that make the biggest difference to the complexion is bronzer and/or blush. There is just something that it adds that brings all your make up together and adds dimension and of course colour to the face. Finding a budget blush and bronzer is rare so when I come across some that have the perfect formulation and pigmentation I squeal inside! There are tones of blush and bronzer shades on the market and in available in highend and lowend brands, although you don’t want to go super cheap and nasty where the formula is quite chalky and doesn’t last, it doesn’t mean that you always need to splurge when it comes to a great bronzer and blush. Welcome to my copper pipe lights DIY, as most of you will know if you follow me on Instagram (if you don’t you totes should www.instagram.com/carafay_ ) that the beginning of this year has been nothing short of HECTIC! We moved flats and with that came a whole lot of admin and was not the smoothest move of them all. Included in the mix of this has been wedding planning which also hasn’t been so smooth sailing. We are finally settling in and of course no home of mine is one without a little DIY added into the mix. In our old flat I DIY’d our bedside lights but I knew when we got to the new flat I needed to do something that didn’t involve drilling into the walls as they’re a creamy colour that I would never be able to colour match on my own! After hours of Pinterest scrolling I found my copper pipe inspiration and off to Builders Warehouse I went. There is no hiding that I am prone to a good online shopping spree, don’t get me wrong I love going in store but there is something about browsing online in the comfort of your own home especially on pay day weekend when the malls are just vom! One of my most favourite online stores is Superbalist purely for how jacked up their returns and exchanges are, if something doesn’t fit you all you do is log an exchange for the different size and they will do the rest for you for free! Collect the item that doesn’t fit and deliver the correct size. I can’t tell you how many times I have done this especially with shoes and jeans! I have always had this fascination with nails I think this comes from when my mom went to Bulawayo and Victoria Falls for business (she was in the beauty industry) each time she came back with a new nail polish colour for me. These shades ranged from greens, blues to black and white! I painted my little stubby bitten finger nails and loved it. Welcome to a different type of blog post, a new little techy type of post – how to customise cover photos for your Instagram Highlights on your profile: It’s super simple really and you don’t have to some crazy photoshop skills or amazing apps, all you need to do is follow the below steps: Head over to Canva sign up if you aren’t already and then and click on create a design. Click on pinterest graphic Click elements on the left-hand side Click on backgrounds and select a colour or background. You can customise the color by clicking the [+] box. Click on text then click add heading if you like as this will be the first image that shows on your highlight. There are so many fonts to choose from here and you can also customise the colour. Click elements again then click shapes. Here you can search the icons you want to use. Drag the icon to the centre of the post, you will notice a guide appears to show you where the centre is. One of the first grown up items I bought was a washing machine, I remember it clearly I was working during the 2010 World Cup and saved up all my money to buy a washing machine (years of knocking on neighbours doors to borrow their washing machine will do this to you!). It ain’t no lie that I am not a huge fan of the beach, I mean I love the sea and the thought of the being on the beach but there are also things that I don’t like about being on the beach aka overheating and also not being overly comfortable in a costume.
