I recently attended the IMAN alter ego launch. Which is a look at the newly launched 6 lipsticks, 4 lip glosses and contour kit.

I don’t think I’m alone in saying that I thought IMAN was a brand made and suited for women of colour, to be honest I didn’t even know they had such a huge range from lipsticks to eyeshadows not only foundations and powders. The brand has such a luxurious feel to it – each lipstick has IMAN embossed on the bullet. You can find all Iman Cosmetics products in Stuttafords.

We started off the day having a look at the existing IMAN display and products – I was BLOWN away and pretty much wanted everything. The eye shadows are so buttery and pigmented these feel how I would imagine Colour Pop to feel.

This is such a gorgeous bronzer and so pigmented.

New lipstick shades are: Babydoll, Rebel, Iman Nude (the revolutionary nude which suits all skin tones), Hipster, Drama Queen and Diva – these are a semi matt formula, highly pigmented and very moisturising.

New lipgloss shades are: Socialite, Muse (YSL once referred to Iman as his ‘muse’ so this shade is a tribute to him), Debutante and Icon – I am not a lipgloss fan but I LOVE muse its the perfect nudey non sticky gloss not too shiny just the perfect amount of gloss.

Another lust item:

We were lucky enough to get two lipsticks and a lipgloss.  I got the following shades, lipgloss in Muse which as I’ve said this is such an amazing gloss not sticky and the perfect amount of colour pay off. Hipster which is a brown/terracotta nude shade which will suit so many skin shades Rayne says this is quite close to being a dupe for Velvet Teddy and lastly baby doll which is my most favourite this is also a nude shade but more of a warm shade so it suits my pale skin perfectly.
