Almay Age Essentials Review

Almay is a range that I have always dabbled in slightly, especially their eye range; mascara and eyeliner. Their products usually focusing on being great for sensitive skin or eyes which is great! They also have eyeshadow palettes where the colours are created to suit specific eye colours which makes it really easy for someone who doesn’t like to play around with make up but wants to try out some eyeshadow.

Today I’m sharing with you a review on the Almay Age Essentials Foundation –  Multi-Benefit Foundation for a Youthful, Natural Look, formulated with anti-aging properties, hyaluronic acid, peptides and collagen and NO added parabens. I was so excited to try this range mainly because most anti aging foundations tend to be full proof, moisturing and full coverage seeing as they’re made for a more mature and possibly wrinkled skin. Never let the phrase ‘anti aging’ put you off.

The foundation is full coverage, smells amazing and although the colour range is not huge the shade 110 is a perfect match for my skin tone. The foundation doesn’t oxdise or move at all through the day, it is definitely one of my most favourite foundations of all time!

The concealer is very interesting mainly because I thought stick concealers were a thing of the past, side note my first concealer was a full coverage concealer stick that was terrible! This Almay Age Essentials concealer is a game changer, I chose shade 100 and is perfect for brightening under the eyes although it does crease but nothing that a little baking can’t fix! The formula is unlike the traditional stick concealer, its very creamy and blends in well and is high coverage which makes it great for blemishes as well.
The packaging colour reminds me so much of tarte rainforest of the sea foundation, random I know but that was my first thought!
