I didn’t even realize Abercrombie and Fitch made perfume until this landed in my review pile, I am so excited it did! The First Instinct perfume is an uplifting fragrance with fruit notes of Grapefruit Zest with sun-kissed Magnolia, passion fruit and wild orange as well as floral notes of Water Lily and Butterfly Orchid. The base is made up of Warm Amber heated by a contrasting blend of Creamy Tonka and Addictive Musk.
The first instinct range for him and her were inspired by that first moment of attraction, when two people’s worlds collide and a spark is ignited I remember the perfume Mandla used to wear when we first met – fragrance is a really powerful memory trigger so you definitely want a signature for a pinnacle moment!
First instinct is a soft, delicate floral sweet (not sickly at all!) fragrance that is very sophisticated that any age group can enjoy. The bottle is a simple square with a curved side at the back and has a small metal label on the front. The perfume itself is a light pink shade, it really is the most gorgeous simple bottle to add to a perfume display although I personally keep all my perfumes in a dark draw.
The Abercrombie and Fitch first instinct perfume is available in three bottle sizes ranging from 30ml R699, 50ml R899, and 100ml R1099.
Packaging: Simple and sophisticated
Notes: Floral and Fruity
Lasting Power: All day but fades to a softer scent.
Day or Night: Either
Thoughts: Overall I am a fan of Abercrombie and Fitch First Instinct it combines all the notes I look for in a fragrance – floral, sweet and noticeable. Every time I wear it someone compliments me on it, it is also a scent that not many people can identify. If you are on the lookout for a new scent and much like me you prefer floral scents to musky ones then definitely have a sniff of First Instinct.
Have you ever tried anything from Abercrombie and Fitch?
